Cool Dude Card
A great card for boys, teenagers or young men.
Can be used for birthday or general greetings.
Using sand paper adds real texture & authenticity!
Materials Used
15cm x 15cm square white folded card
Paper Nations 3D Decoupage Paper – Surfer Boy
Crafters Companion Oriental CD 1 & Good quality white printing paper
Sand paper (Try to use coarse, the grain is thicker & looks more like a beach!)
White & Silver card
Sizzix Circle Combo Frames Die
Sticky Pads or Silicone Glue
Sakura Quickie Glue Pen
Tweezers
Scissors
Sizzix Bigshot
Sizzix Wingo Zingo Alphabet Decorative Strip Die
Extended spacer platform (for use with Decorative strips die)
13' Cutting Pads (for use with Decorative strips die)

Making the card
Using the Crafters Companion Oriental set CD 1, print the wave style/design8 background paper in blue from the coordinating papers section.
Cut a 15cm x 15cm piece of wave style paper. Adhere to the square base card using double-sided tape.

Rip a piece of sand paper, cut to size & adhere as shown.

Using either sticky pads or silicone glue build up the Surfer Boy decoupage (paper nations decoupage is great for beginners as the pieces are numbered & easy to follow. There are 5 layers to this design, cut out complete boy (layer 1). Cut out layer 2 and glue it over the top of layer 1 using either sticky pads or silicon glue. Repeat this process for layers 3, 4 and 5. If you've used silicone glue leave it to dry.)
Adhere the Surfer Boy to the card using double-sided tape.

Using the Sizzix Combo Circle frames die & the Bigshot, cut the following circles;
Cut 4 small circles, 2 from white card & 2 from silver card.
Using the 2nd to smallest circle cut 2 circles in white card & 2 from silver card.
Frame 2 white circles of each size with the corresponding silver frames & adhere to the right side of the card as shown.

Using Wingo Zingo Alphabet decorative strip die (For use in a Sidekick requires 13' cutting pads; use in a Bigshot/Big Kick requires Extended spacer platform & 13' cutting pads) cut 'Dude' from silver card
Using the glue pen & tweezers adhere Dude to the centre of the framed circles.
