Let your dad know that he is ACE!
This card can also be adapted for birthdays by changing the text to 'have an ACE Birthday'
Materials Used
Red DL Card
Crafters Companion Men's Collection CD2 & Good quality white printing paper
Red & Gold Card
Gold Inkpad
Sticky Pads
Sakura Quickie Glue Pen
Double-sided Tape
Scissors
Paper Trimmer
Printing
Using the Crafters Companion Men's Collection CD2, print the following 3 sheets ready for this project;-
* The Playing card symbols/design8 paper from the coordinating papers section in cream/colour option 1.
* The Playing cards/design9 from the toppers section.
* The letters U, R, DAD in design 3 & using colour option 1 from the alphabets section. Print these at A6 size for small alphabet tiles.

Making the Card
Half cover a red DL card (DL size approx 10.5cm x 21cm) with the printed playing card symbols background paper.
Cut a thin strip of gold card & adhere horizontally to the middle of the covered base card.
Ink the edges of the base card with a gold inkpad. (Leave ink to dry)

Cut out a large single Ace card image from the toppers sheet, & the alphabet tiles from the alphabet sheet.
Mount the alphabet tiles onto red, then gold card, trimming each time to leave a narrow border. Repeat this for the playing card, but mount with sticky pads to make it stand out.
Assemble as shown.
