Making the card
Cut a 14cm x 14cm piece of blue card from the basic grey cupcake paper pad.
Emboss the card using the stars and swirls texture plate (Bigshot and Starter kit required).
Lightly sand the blue embossed card with a nail file or very fine sand paper to reveal the white core.
Wipe away any dust.
Adhere the embossed card to the middle of the blue 15cm x 15cm base card, leaving a small border around the edge.
Using the Sizzix stars die, cut 1 large & 4 small stars in yellow card.
Using either double sided tape or the quickie glue pen adhere the large star to the centre of the card. Adhere the small stars to the card using 3D sticky pads.

Using the Sizzlits Phrase, Happy Birthday! #2 Die, cut the phrase using dark blue card.
The phrase is joined together. For this card you will need to separate it. You will need to cut away the exclamation mark, as it forms part of the 'H'.
Using the Sakura Quickie glue pen, & tweezers adhere 'Happy' & 'Birthday' centrally above & below the large star. Press down firmly or place a weight over the text for a few minutes whilst glue dries.
Use the rocket die to cut shapes in blue, red & silver card, and assemble as shown.
Adhere Rocket to the middle of card using 3D sticky pads.
