Bind it all boxes
Here are some more boxes I have made using my Bind It All. I have to say that this is one of my most used pieces of equipment. I did wonder when I had it how much I would actually use it but there isn't a week goes by that it's not used for something. It is so versatile on so many levels.
I hope you like my new creations.

Step 1
Using the brayer, ink pad of choice and the embossing plate, brayer the de-bossed side of the embossing plate. Lay your white card over the top and run through the Big Shot.

Step 2
This will colour the background of the embossed image leaving the flowers in this case white. I have used a brilliance ink pad because I like the sheen it leaves.
Cover the beer mats. I found some with a shaped top which I though would suit this project well.
I have covered the inside with plain cream cardstock.
Taking the dimensions from the beer mat, I have cut a piece of mountboard for the base.

Step 3
Using the Bind it All, punch holes on all four sides of the base, and three sides of the beer mat, leaving the top as is.
I have used a Bind it all wire on one of the corners to use as a pen holder and ribbon to bind the rest of the box together as with the Mothers day Keepsake box.

|
Step 4
Either cut or use a pre cut phone pad and store the papers inside the box.

Desk Tidies
Using the same principal as above, I made some desk tidies for my Daughter's newly decorated office at work.
The phone pad box is done the same as above, for the small box I cut the beer mats in half so she can store her paperclips etc. The tall one is cut from mountboard using the beer mat as a template to shape the top for storing pens, ruler etc.
The whole lot is covered with embossed white card, again using the brayering technique as above and white card stippled with a sponge using the same brilliance ink pad, to cover the inside.
The fishes were added at her request!

Tissue Box Cover
Finally, I made a box to cover a box of tissues.
I measured the box and cut mountboard approx. 1 cm larger. Covered it all in a pretty paper. The top part I cut an oval for the tissue to poke through. Punched 3 sides of the box 'sides' and four sides of the top.
I used bind it all wires around the edges and ribbon to attach the top leaving the base open to slip over the box of tissues.
I embellished it with epoxy flowers and letters putting 'Bless You!' on one side and 'Atishoo' on the other and a stamped image on the front which was stamped onto card coloured and cut out and mounted with foam pads to add a bit of dimension. I used Anitas 3D gloss to make the mouse stand out and a bit of iridescent glitter glue on the stamped tissues.
