Making the card
Cut the front side of a 15cm x 15cm card in half vertically (see photo)
Cut a 15cm x 7.5cm piece of white card from the basic grey cupcake paper pad, and adhere to the remaining front piece of card.
Cut a 15cm x 8.5cm piece of cupcake paper & adhere to the right side of the card (this is the inside of the card, but is visible to the eye)
Cut a 1cm strip of red paper, & then cut a fancy edge down one side using large scallop scissors. With the scalloped side visible, adhere to the underneath of the newly covered front.
Cut a thin strip of confetti paper & adhere using the quickie glue pen to the left side of the card, leaving approximately 2-3mm gap from the left.
Cut out 2 'have your cake and eat it!' sentences from the birthday border transfers. Rub on to the front of the card.
Using the Sizzix Combo Circle frames die & the Bigshot, die cut the following circles;
Cut 2 large circles, 1 from red card & 1 from confetti card
Using the 2nd to smallest circle cut 2 circles in white card
Using the 2nd to biggest circle cut 2 circles in red card
With low tack tape/invisible tape, lightly stick one of the small white card circles centrally over a cupcake & emboss image. Repeat process with a 2nd white circle.
Carefully remove and discard sticky tape.
Adhere the embossed cupcake discs centrally onto the red circle die cuts (you do not require the red circle die cut frames for this card, so keep them in a safe place for later use)
Attach the large red circle die cut frame to the large confetti circle centre
Adhere these 3 circles to the front of the card as per photo. (Tip place the circles on the card 1st for spacing, before actually sticking)
Using cupcake sizzlit, cut 2 cupcakes, 1 from pink felt & 1 from brown felt
Remove the cherry & separate the icing from the cake base. For this card I have used the pink icing & the brown base, but the choice is yours!
You could use the spare cupcake on a tag.
Using a needle & thread sew approx 6 seed beads to the icing.
Using double sided tape adhere cupcake to the large centre circle.
Adhere red pom-pom to the top of the cake using PVA Glue (place a weight over the pom-pom just until the glue dries)

Enjoy your calorie free delight!
