Wedding Congratulations
This card was made using a sketch which appeared in a website challenge. Unfortunately I did not make a note of the website. Sorry, but whoever you are- many thanks!
Step 1
Trim ' Wedding' vellum to fit A6 pearlescent card blank adding an extra centimetre to the narrowest width. Score and fold one centimetre in along the longest edge to make flap. This will be used to attach vellum to the back of the card.
Step 2
Tear off bottom right hand corner of vellum and ink torn edge with gold ink. For an embossed edge use a pigment ink, gold embossing powder and a heat gun.
Attach vellum to back of card blank with vellum tape
Step 3
Using double sided tape attach ribbon to card, approximately a third of the way down from the top of the card.
Step 4
Mount and layer 'Congratulations ' peel-off on cream and gold pearlescent card and attach to ribbon.
Step 5
Using Sissix die-cutter and Ellison thin cuts die, cut out champagne bottle and cork from black and gold card scraps and piece together. Add gold gem to label on neck of bottle.
Stick on card with foam pads
Step 6
Use Stickles glue sparingly to paint in champagne spray. Too much glue and your vellum will warp.
