Maze Book
This little book can be useful for so many things. Depending on the embellishments used, it can cover a multitude of occasions or just a keepsake gift. It looks more complicated to do than it actually is.

Materials used
One sheet of 12 x 12 good weight paper/card
Double sided tape
Bone Folder
Craft Knife
Ruler
Heavy card or mountboard
Scissors
Co-ordinating backing paper
Embellishments to suit
Step 1
Taking the 12 x 12 sheet of paper, fold in half and in half again. Turn the sheet and do the same again in opposite directions using the bone folder to give a sharp crease.
You should now have a piece of paper with 12 squares.
Step 2
Taking your craft knife and ruler, or scissors if you prefer, cut down one of the creases along 3 of the squares leaving the fourth uncut.
Then do the same again going in the opposite direction on the middle crease and another cut parallel to the first one on the third crease
Step 3
With the right side of the cut paper facing upwards, and starting at the left hand side, fold the first square up so that it is flat to the rest of the paper
Step 4
Working your way around the sheet concertina fold the rest of the 12 x 12 paper working all the way around
Step 5
Working your way through, use double sided tape on the back of the first square and stick to the back of the facing square.
Step 6
When all of the pages are stuck together, there should be 9 pages to the little book
Step 7
Taking the thick card or mountboard, cut 2 squares 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches. These are the front and back covers of the book.
Cover them with the paper of choice.
Step 8
Using a length of ribbon and double sided tape, attach around the centre of the book with the ends of the ribbon facing the front.
Step 9
Attach the front and back covers to the book with double sided tape, tie the ribbon at the front and the basic book is now complete.
Finally
Embellish your book to suit the occasion it is required for.
I have done this one for a teenage girl but photographs can be added and the theme kept throughout
