Star Book
This is a Memory Book with a difference, when stood up and folded out it looks just like a Star! A lovely keepsake to make for yourself or give to a loved one.

To make a Star Book, you will need;
12 x 12 Cardstock - 3 sheets of 3 colours
A length of co-ordinating ribbon
Double sided tape
Metal ruler
Sharp craft knife
Embellishments as desired

Cut Cardstock to size
Using the colour you want for the outside of the Star Book cut 5 pieces measuring 12' x 6'. Cut 5 pieces of the middle colour 11' x 6' and 5 pieces of the inside colour 10' x 6'.

Fold Cardstock in half
Fold all 15 pieces of cardstock in half.

Double Sided Tape
Using double sided tape, stick 1 of each of the 3 sizes inside of each other. You will end up with 5 mini books.

Star Shape
Using double sided tape stick all 5 mini books together making sure that the tape is tight to the spine and making sure that you line them all up carefully.

Star Book!
You can now see how your Star Book has taken shape!

Ribbon
Stick a piece of double sided tape around the centre of the outside of the book and stick your co-ordinating ribbon to the book making sure that you have enough to be able to tie a bow.

Embellish
Cover a piece of card with co-ordinating paper and embellish your Star Book to your hearts content.
