Sizzlets 'Love' and 'Buttons' sets
Medium corner rounder punch
Big Shot die cutting machine
Thick cardstock or greyboard

Start your project
Cut cardstock to 5 x 10'. Score in half and fold. Round the bottom two corners with a medium corner punch.
Cover card front
Using K and Co. 'McKenna' papers cut 2 pieces each 5 x 2 1/2'. We will be using each side of the chosen paper. Select one piece (the darker pattern) and round the bottom corners to match the prepared card. Using double-sided tape attach the patterned papers to the front of the card.
Decorative strip
Cut a strip of paper 5 x 1' from a multi-stripe pattern paper from the McKenna pack. Cut off a small border using scallop edged decorative scissors. Ink the scallop edge with ColorBox 'Blush rose' chalk ink. Apply to the card where the backing papers join.
Embellishments
Cut two hearts from the Ellison 'Tipsy hearts' die in a dark red paper from the collection. Cut the same shapes in thick cardstock or greyboard. Stick the relevant pieces together. This helps to give the project dimension as the hearts will sit proud of the surface of the card. Ink the edges of the completed hearts with ColorBox 'Blush rose' chalk ink.
Buttons
Cut three heart-shaped buttons from the Sizzlet 'Buttons' set in contrasting green patterned paper. Repeat with thick card or light-weight greyboard. Glue the paper to the cardstock. Ink the edges with ColorBox 'Olive Pastel' chalk ink. Thread your 'buttons' with toning embroidery floss.
Sentiment
Cut the word 'Love' from the Sizzlets 'Love' set in dark red paper and again in silver mirri card. Place the red sentiment on top of the mirri card slightly off-setting it and gluing it in place.
To complete
Place the embellishments on your card as per the finished sample. Glue the larger heart into place directly to the front of the card. Mount the smaller heart onto 3D foam and place on the card overlapping the large heart. Glue the buttons and the sentiment into place.
Finish off your card by inking round the edges with ColorBox 'Blush Rose' chalk ink
